Volunteers are a major force at BHC. The 19-member Board of Directors is entirely composed of volunteers. Volunteers also provide more than 50,000 hours of service each year and account for approximately 55% of the BHC workforce.

BHC Mail Team -Join us!
Our BHC Mail Team assists with the assembly of our community appeal letters. Bakersfield Homeless Center is a non-profit organization and relies on community contributions to house, feed, clothe homeless women with children, families, and single adults at our shelter. We need your help throughout the year! Join the Mail Team for morning coffee, pastries, lunch, and a great conversation! |
